Tea and company..

Posted January 14, 2011 by Christina

I am planning a little afternoon tea with my girls to work on our trip to Paris in the spring for next week. I am so excited to go back! I simply love it there... Have you been? We are thinking of staying in an apartment for the week... any recommendations? I love the 1st Arr. so I am trying to find something there.

Not to mention my love for these dishes I plan on picking some up while in town also!

I agree with Francine : St Germain des Prés is my favorite place to stay in Paris.
When is your trip there ?

How fun to go with your girls! i always go on my own (for work that is) but my sons used to visit there with my parents and stayed once in a marvelous very modern apartment that is rented by the week, in the Marais though.
I am a creature of habbits ans always stays in Saint Germain des Pres. i just love the atmosphere, the streets, the shops and cafe and the bookstores are open until midnight!

oh, that table! i love astier de villatte, have you been in the shop in rue honoré? my little girls and i adore paris, i’ve been lucky enough to go several times so that i have begun to explore the city in a different way. we always rent apartments, i use http://www.allorenta.com or http://www.parissweethome.com/parisrentals/index.php. book as far in advance as you can, the glamourous ones disappear quickly! i too love st. germain des prés, and le marais. x

Paris, my favorite city! When I went we rented an apartment from ParisPerfect.com. Their apartments are gorgeous and most are in the 7th, the most desirable area of Paris. I will be using them again for my next trip!

I am there and in the south 6 months out of the year. I spent a week in Paris in an amazing apartment right in between the Luxembourg Palace and St Sulpice…. phenomenal and many places to pick up Astier Villatte nearby :)
