Tote obsession...

Posted March 27, 2012 by Christina

This is a problem.. I am completely obsessed with totes and bags..  I was flipping through the new issue of Souvenir magazine and was clicking through on products that I liked, once I finished the magazine I realized that I had linked up to multiple websites, but each link was for a different bag.  So I guess I am obsessed just a little!!  I have bags everywhere in the house, I have woven bags holding my bath towels, picnic supplies, fabric samples- you name it!   I like woven, vintage, linen, pretty much anything that would carry goodies home from any kind of store or hold things at home, but I truly love to use them at the flea market and farmer's market- it feels great to come home without a single plastic bag wrapped around my goodies.

Do you love them like I do- have I lost my mind (don't answer that one)!?

I share your passion and have decided that one can never have too many. Saying that, I can rationalise nearly anything… especially when it is as pretty and functional ( must add in that part) as the tote in the top photo…might be a good camera bag too. See what I mean… :)
Best wishes…Jeanne xx

I just could not cope without my French Basket! I practically use it every day. It is a bit worn but well love & lovingly hauled home from Nice France quite a while ago! Where would be we be without at Tote!

I understand only too well, I love baskets and seem to have such a variety, as well as Baggu’s for shopping (Sailor Stripe), and totes I make from remnants of my strongest linen. Somebody stop me!

Now I want to find woven shopping bags and dip the bottoms in paint … I think I need several in different sizes, just unified by chalky bottoms. Good fun.

I’m a big fan of baskets of any kind. The market baskets are so lovely but I also like the cloth bags as well. I don’t think you can have enough tote bags!!

Oh, tote bags! I’m totally addicted, when I see one I have to buy it!
Most of the time I just look at them because they’re so crisp white/cream I don’t want to get them dirty….

I’m totally with you on this one. I have one basket that I use for market shopping, another basket that I use for snacks ect when going to watch my kids play sport and another for putting jerseys, cossies, whatever when we go on outings. I could go on an on! I couldn’t possibly use the same one for all purposes. x Sharon
