our thanksgiving table...

November 24, 2014

Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving with our family, it was fun as always to have everyone together and catch up.  I think my favorite part of getting ready for guests is always setting the table.  This year I wanted a simple feeling and I have been wanting to try arranging flowers inside of pumpkins.  I love loved them as well as the overall feel we ended up with!  I used my left over pumpkins and filled them with small white roses, eucalyptus branches, queen anne's lace and some greenery from our garden.  On the table I wanted to keep it really simple and went with white table cloths under craft style packing paper right off of the roll, my Astier de Villatte dish collection and vintage silverware and glasses to round it out.

This is a little peek at what really goes on when we are trying to get the perfect shot.  I had to sneak away for a few minutes to take some of these when the light had changed.
