I cannot believe we are already here at the end of the One Room Challenge! First I would like to say a huge thank you to Linda from Calling it Home for including me with this group of amazing bloggers to participate, and to all of you who have visited the blog to keep up with us! Soooo.... here it is our (mostly) completed laundry room project!
When it came to the end I was very undecided on the details for the space, I have a few things that we still need to add. I want to put in some drying racks like these for delicate pieces and we need a new hamper for next to the sink but basically I want to keep it pretty clean in there. I love the counter and all of the space to actually move around in here now.
The back splash is amazing - I wish the lighting had been better when I was taking pictures- these are a little blurry but they give you the gist of it.
I popped up a couple of vintage water color pieces that I picked up at the flea market a little while back with just a little tape. I am thinking I will switch them out with some others or misc pieces that I find, to keep kind of a rotating group up there. I am drawn to art and love the idea of adding more here and there, and this seemed like fun way to display it pretty simply.
The bubble chandelier is perfect for the space and I love it! (I will warn you though if you get one you have to hang each glass piece by hand, hours of fun right there)
The sink was a great choice even it was not made for the space that it ended up in, it works perfectly here. We added a little simple metal shelf to hold soap and some tools for cutting flowers etc..
I used woven baskets to hold extra supplies, socks and misc pieces. Over all I love the way the space turned out.
